MITT IS BACK IN 2024!

Jesse Sapolu's Men in the Trenches (MITT) off-season linemen academy will be resuming in the Southern California in March 2024.

Under Jesse Sapolu’s tutelage, athletes who want to learn the position of offensive line (OL) and defensive line (DL), will gain knowledge and understanding of OL & DL fundamentals. MITT Academy is designed for  young aspiring linemen looking to learn the game of football from former NFL and college players and coaches.

MITT camps take place on select Saturdays from May through May. Camp dates and locations can be found on our website.

What you will learn at MITT Linemen Academy:
  • Perfect the art of pass protection, understand different approaches depending on DT or DE alignment.
  • Basic 1-on-1 run blocking.  The power step and why the second step is just as important.
  • Zone run blocking concepts and different combinations of zone blocking.
  •  1-on-1 pass pro/rush
  • Opportunity to compete against and learn from other top linemen in Southern California.
